Conventional blueberry propagation through stem or rhizome cuttings is a relatively easy task. Nevertheless, tissue culture propagation has been established in order to reach genetic uniformity in the planting materials and to overcome problems: a) the variations in fruit characteristics originating from diminution in fruit yields, and b) the precocity of flowering, which delays the establishment of plantings.Thus, conventional micropropagation of V. angustifolium based in gelled medium has been established and reported
